Dog Safety

We ask to keep dogs inside during each visit in order to keep your dogs safe as well as our technicians safe. Keeping the dogs inside prevent any potantial confrontation with our technicians or a dog getting out while we are servicing the property. We take gate pictures after each visit is completed in order to assure you of us being done and the gate being closed. This let's you know it is safe to let the dog back outside to play in their yard.

Dogs can be very territorial as the area we are servicing each visit is their domain. We are a stranger in their home and we do not ever want that interaction to go array.

Chemicals

The chemicals we use are all yard safe, people safe and kid safe. We use two chemicals on a daily basis. Our deodorizer product is used across the country in many other pet related industries. This product is safe for dogs if they would happen to ingest and unharmful to their paws. We do recommend giving 30 minutes upon once a yard deodorizer application is applied to let the product dry out before having dogs back in the yard. This is just an additional recommendation and not a requirement.

Our second product we use is a sanitation product that sanitizes our equipment and boots in between yards. This product is kept in a separate container in our vehicles. This product is only intended for our equipment and shoes and applied at our vehicles in between yards. This product is used in many vet facilities and dog boarding facilities nationwide. Its a trusted product we feel confident in using to prevent the spread of bacteria or viruses between client yards.

Inclement Weather

Poo Squad will work through the rain and cold as long as we can safely do so. We cannot work through severe thunderstorms, flooding, or an accumulation of snow. Poo Squad is a MONTHLY subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to weather. We still will have to pick up all of the poop from the previous week.  In these cases, we will skip service for that week, and see you the following week. If you need it cleaned up before your next scheduled visit, please call us and we will do our best to get it cleaned as our schedule allows, but cannot guarantee it. We also do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is really muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.
